2024 Mt. Takao (Michelin three-star mountain) and ONSEN Tour
Don’t miss to visit Mt. Takao and ONSEN, hot spring bath in Takao if you are traveling Tokyo.
Mt. Takao is rated as a “must see” in the travel guide book “Michelin Green Guide Japon” and won three Michelin stars.
It is located in the west side of Tokyo, around 1 hour away from Shinjuku Station.
Cable cars and lifts are available to approach to the top with the height of 599 meters where you will love the stunning view.
The area also features souvenir stores and restaurants offering delicious Japanese cuisine such as soba buckwheat noodles.
The cable car has the steepest incline among Japan’s cable cars at a grade of 31 degrees. And enjoy the lift on its way back to the bottom of the Mt. Takao with beautiful trees and scenery while feeling the refreshing air. After the ride, will have a Japanese ONSEN experience at the foot of Mt. Takao.
